About Kissa

Our Story
Kissa was born from a simple observation: India's richest stories are disappearing.
Not because people don't care, but because the mediums that carried them — folk paintings, oral traditions, regional art forms — are being replaced by faster, louder, more disposable forms of culture.
We asked: what if clothing could be the new medium?
What if a shirt pocket could carry a Rajasthani miniature painting? What if a collar could tell a folk tale? What if fashion could be the bridge that connects a 21-year-old in Mumbai with a 400-year-old art tradition from Kishangarh?
That's what Kissa is. Not a fashion brand. A storytelling platform. One that happens to make really beautiful shirts.
Our Mission
To transform Indian folk art, regional stories, and cultural narratives into contemporary wearable fashion — creating a living bridge between heritage and modernity.
Our Vision
A world where wearing a shirt can spark a conversation about centuries-old art traditions, where fashion is a vehicle for cultural preservation, and where every garment carries the signature of an artist, not just a brand.
